1 pound beef stew
4 med carrots
3 med potatoes
3 celery stalks
1 med/lg onion
2 14.5 oz. cans diced tomatoes
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup flour or cornstarch
1/2 cup water
Brown beef in pot you intent to cook the stew. Add all remaining ingredients except flour and water in order given. Whisk the flour and water and pour over the other ingredients. Cover and cook at 275° F for 5 hours.
Serve over rice.
